A teeter totter (also known as a seesaw) is a long, narrow board suspended in the middle so that, as one end goes up, the other end goes down. The board is balanced in the exact center. A person sits on each end and they take turns pushing their feet against the ground to lift their end into the air.

Custom made, Hand made, wooden teeter totters with no plastic pieces. Sturdy and safe for all ages! Smooth, friction free axis allows for a smooth ride every time!!! Easily disassembled for moving.

Nater Tater’s Teeter Totters, LLC is a small family owned and operated business. We started the business a few years ago. A family friend asked us to build a swing set for her kids. Vickie was talking about the swing set at work one day and a coworker asked if we could build a swing set and a teeter totter for her great granddaughter. Nathan designed a teeter totter and built it for her. More friends heard about this and wanted a teeter totter as well. Eventually, we formed an LLC, started a website, and sold many teeter totters in no time. That is how it all started…

Vickie is the owner and Chief Executive Officer. In addition to these roles, Vickie is a Registered Nurse specializing in cardiology. First and foremost though, she is a great mother!

Nathan is the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Sales and Marketing. In addition to these roles, Nathan is an Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. First and foremost though, he is a father!

By checking the box on the Request a Quote form, it serves as my signature on this agreement. This agreement does not bind me to any purchase of goods from Nater Tater's Teeter Totters, LLC. However, if I do agree to purchase any good from Nater Tater's Teeter Totters, LLC, I agree to the terms listed below.

The buyer agrees that the seller has made every attempt to ensure each teeter totter is built soundly and appropriate for children. In addition, the buyer understands that as far as the seller knows, the teeter totters do not contain any harmful substances, such as lead, etc. The buyer agrees that the seller will have no liability for any injuries and/or illnesses, happening on or around the teeter totters, which might occur in the future.

Treated Lumber

Treated Lumber is pine that contains a water based preservative called Alkaline Copper Quaternary (ACQ) which prevents decay from fungi and insects. ACQ is safe for residential use. ACQ was designed to replace CCA (Chromated Copper Arsenate) wood preservatives, which have been phased out because of its toxicity.

How safe is ACQ treated wood?
Very safe. The preservative injected into lumber reacts with the wood substance to form an insoluble complex. It won’t evaporate or vaporize. Treated wood is clean, odorless, non-staining, and safe to work with and handle. Its locked-in protection is non-irritating to children, adults, animals and plants. The minute amounts of preservative released over time due to wear off of the product or water contact have been carefully studied. The conclusion is clear: it is safe for the environment and safe for people and pets.
